"I am delighted with it" - Lillevilla 360
Anna purchased our biggest log cabin, the Lillevilla 365 measuring 7.40m x 4.00m, from us at The Southampton Boat Show back in 2022. Here’s what she had to say about it:
“I use my cabin mainly as a studio. I am an artist and have set up a table in one end that I use for drawing and general admin. I have a large bench on castors that I can move around, shelves and cupboards for storage. I have set up a sewing machine in one corner so I can use that easily without having to get it out and put away constantly.
The other end of the cabin has a day-bed which is set up as a comfy sofa but has three mattresses, my daughters use it for sleepovers and our springer spaniel owns it the rest of the time!
We have had a very fun 16th birthday party in it too and a lunch party for 20 by just popping a garden table and some bunting in (which still hasn’t come down and cheers me up when I have artists block!). I have a small oil-filled electric heater with a timer so I can make sure it has been on for half an hour in the mornings before I come in to work in the winter.
We have lots of fun landscaping the area around the cabin ourselves, a small gravel terrace, railway sleeper steps, a dahlia bed and a sunny bench for coffee breaks.
I bought my cabin at the Southampton boat show… after trying to have a studio built for 5 years and watching costs spiral. My lovely builder was very supportive of me opting to get one of your cabins instead and sorted out the base for me. It has been a fantastic decision and I am delighted with it, it has also changed the whole feel of our garden, really finishing off a rather neglected corner and giving us a whole new vantage point.
We used Farrow and Balls Black Blue from the archive collection to match with the recommended paint, which was very easy to use and seems to be very effective so far!"
