The Finnish Log Cabin Build in the Lake District weeks 5 and 6

Final weeks of the Finnish Log Cabin Build

We have been off site for just over a week to let the other tradesmen start work on the electrics, do the plumbing and allow the roofing contractor to lay the slates on the roof. We have returned to very bad weather and this is slowly us up some what. However the Cabin is now starting to look like a home, windows and doors all in place and the stain on the exterior walls.

We aim to finish the log cabin wall insulation, cladding and install the staircase this week.
Then it decided to snow!
