Jotun Butinox
In order to maintain and enhance the beautiful appearance of your log cabin it is essential that you apply the best possible wood preservative.
We recommend Jotun Butinox which has a unique, high solids resin formulation that offers increased coating flexibility, superior absorption and protection plus greater durability to withstand the natural movement of the timber. This highly translucent wood stain requires a two coat system which is ideal for treating new timber.
A one coat maintenance application of Jotun Butinox is recommended every 3-4 years.
Bitumen Roof Shingles
We recommend that you purchase Bitumen roof shingles for your log cabin. The hexham style shingles are available in 3 colours. These felt tiles are reliable and are a classic solution for your log cabins roof. They are made using the most up to date manufacturing techniques available, and are made from fibre glass. They are suitable to use on almost any building such as summer houses, log cabins, garden sheds, and wooden garages. Always consider the weather when laying your roof.
