The BBC is showing a fantastic programme at the moment called Frozen Planet which focuses on life and the environment in the Artic and Antartic. After watching the programme it made me aware that we all need to be more environmentally friendly and look after our planet. If you have not seen this programme I recommend you watch it, it may just inspire you to become more eco friendly.
Being eco friendly doesn’t need any set up it can start with firstly watching how much water we use. When we are in the home don’t leave taps running unnecessarily. For the garden use water butts to catch the rain these can be connected to your home, garden shed, cabin, summerhouse or greenhouse. With our British weather you shouldn’t be short of rainfall water to use in your garden. By not using the hose pipe you will be saving litres of water.
If you want to be more eco friendly in the garden you may consider buying an eco friendly building.
